We're Moving!
after 30 years Thor Is moving from the Nieuwe haven
For as long as we can remember, the municipality has had plans for the Nieuwe Haven—the place we call home.
Through determination and stubborn compliance from the municipality, we have managed to keep our spot for thirty years.
Now, it looks like our time here is coming to an end. But this does not mean the relationship between Thor and the Voorwaarts is over!
On the 17th of March, we will close our doors at the Nieuwe Haven and begin our move. In the first week of April, we will reopen near Schieweg 16.
We have plans to keep the boat as long as possible! This page will be updated when more information becomes available—but rest assured, Thor doesn’t leave without rolling thunder!
The continued existence of the Voorwaarts, our beloved clubhouse, could not have been realized without the love and determination that our members have shown for our club.
We would like to thank every member that has ever engaged themselves for the Nieuwe haven comissie, They are the ones that made sure we were heard in this story.
