Thor still has it's home in de nieuwe haven
the position of the Voorwaarts HAS BEEN IN PERIL. BUT WHATEVER THE RUMORS MAY SAY, WE ARE STILL HERE!
Since before the time of many of our members the municipality has had plans in the Nieuwe Haven. The place we call home.
However, trough determination and stubborn compliance from the municipality we have been able to keep our spot in the Nieuwe Haven, where we have stood now for thirty years.
It now looks like we shall lose our spot by the beginning of 2025. This does not mean the relationship of Thor and the voorwaarts is over yet!
We have plans to keep the boat as long as possible! This page will be updated when more information becomes available, but be sure Thor doesn’t leave without rolling thunder!
The continued existence of the Voorwaarts, our beloved clubhouse, could not have been realized without the love and determination that our members have shown for our club.
We would like to thank every member that has ever engaged themselves for the Nieuwe haven comissie, They are the ones that made sure we were heard in this story.
